Concursos InternacionalesMotorola Student Design Competition - Wireless
Universal Access
Explore ways that the universal design of wireless communication can
overcome limitations to access in terms of physical, cognitive, and environmental
experiences for all people. One first place prize of $5,000; two second place prizes of
$2,000 each; and three third place prizes of $1,000 each. Plus: each prize includes one
trip to the Consumer Electronics Show, Jan. 6-9 '01 where the winners will be announced.
And, a $2,000 award to the first place school!
Criteria: The winners will-
Empower the full range of human abilities, both in terms of age and adeptness;
Creatively interpret the power of wireless technology to simplify daily life;
Provide appropriate access;
Simplify interaction;
Enhance physical, cognitive and environmental experience for all people;
and Support spirituality and connection to the community.
Entry material available: August 15, 2000.
